Operator and service

Dots for Discord is operated by ColinWebdev. By using this connector, you agree to these terms. See our support page for contact and account help. Discord and ChatGPT are separate services operated by their respective providers; this connector is independent of them.

The service connects your linked Discord account and private channel to your own personal Dot or supported ChatGPT Work conversation. Your ChatGPT account, plan, workspace permissions and AI usage remain separate.

Your access and permission

Use accounts you control and connect only servers you have permission to manage. Follow Discord’s and OpenAI’s applicable terms and policies. Review the bot’s requested Administrator permission before authorizing it. Server administrators can access private channels.

Only the linked owner can trigger replies or approve server changes through this connector. Adding a viewer does not grant those abilities. Review the exact approval card before approving a proposed change in Discord. Do not use the service for spam, harassment, unauthorized access, or unlawful activity. Keep your accounts and credentials secure.

Current preview and planned paid launch

The current preview is free, has no paid checkout and does not charge a subscription. The planned launch offer is US$4.99 per month for one connected Discord server per customer. ChatGPT subscriptions and AI usage are not included. Intended availability covers all countries supported by this service and its underlying providers.

The intended paid checkout is Discord Premium Apps, subject to app eligibility, payout onboarding and completed subscription enforcement. Payments and paid access are not enabled in this release. No paid service is purchased by visiting this page or connecting the current preview.

For the planned paid service, subscriptions will renew monthly until canceled. Cancellation will be managed through Discord, with access through the paid period while the entitlement remains valid. Purchases through Discord will follow Discord’s applicable refund policy and billing support. See Discord’s cancellation instructions.

Disconnecting a channel and canceling billing are separate actions. Before subscriptions become available, checkout must show the actual price, applicable taxes, renewal schedule and cancellation details. The paid flow must be implemented and verified before purchases open.

Availability and generated replies

Discord, ChatGPT and hosting availability can affect the connector. Replies require supported event monitoring, a verified active connection and sufficient ChatGPT access. Monitoring can expire or stop; check its state in your dashboard. No uptime guarantee is offered in this preview.

AI replies may be incorrect. Check important information and proposed changes before relying on them. You control your monitoring instructions in ChatGPT.

Your controls and data

You can pause or disconnect from your dashboard. Disconnecting stops delivery and removes monitoring subscriptions while leaving the Discord channel in place. Signing out only ends your dashboard session.
